The header for my website is a jpeg image, and our current website builder allows us to only upload jpeg/gif. I need hyperlinks in my header, so is there anyway to embed them (i have photoshop/imageready) and keep the html formatting in a gif/jpeg so i can upload it?How to put hyperlinks in a jpeg/gif?
If you want hyperlinks in your header image, you have to make it an image map. Free online image map makers:

You can use image map for this purpose. Since you have Imageready the job would be much easier. In the ImageReady toolbar there are tools called Rectangle Image Map Tool, Circle Image Map Tool and Polygon Image Map Tool. Using any of these tools draw the image map over the area where you want the link to be present. In the Properties window set the attributes for the link.
Then goto File %26gt; Save Optimized As
In the Save As Type field select ';HTML and Images (.html)';.
The HTML file with the information of the links along with the image would be saved.
First select the image you want to hyperlink, and use the link tool in your website editor and insert the link. If more help is needed go to: http://www.vodahost.com/tut_bluevoda.htm and watch the videos #12 showing you how to do it.
