How to talk in front of class?

well my math teacher is making my friends nd i teach in front of the class


just like she does every day...


nd my team got multiplying and dividing integers ...


nd i got chosen to do the lesson plan


so we HAVE to talk


nd im kind of nervous to do that


first of all


because i dont kno wat to say

It's always good to calm your nerves and keep the students entertained, so perhaps start off with something humorous about your topic. Also the key to speaking in front of an audience is to pretend and lie. By this I mean pretend and lie I mean be confident. Even though everything in your body says you just want to run out of the classroom, pretend to be confident. Some things I do are:


Take a few breathes


Have notes cards in your hand if need be


Bottle water in case your mouth gets dry


Look at everyone in the room so you don't stare at one person to long


Walk around (esp. if your legs or hands shake)


Pretend to be confident.
