You don't need to uninstall the old graphics card. You computer should boot with the new card installed. Go into the BIOS and make your hard disk the first boot device and connect your hard drive. If you still get the error ';insert boot media'; your computer can't read your hard disk.

If you are attempting to boot from a CD, go into the BIOS and make your CD the first boot device. Put the disk in the drive and reboot the computer. It should boot from the CD if you have a boot disk. If you still get the ';insert boot media'; message either you have a bad CD or a bad optical drive. How to uninstall old graphic card without being able to log in to windows ?
Take it out?
You can choose Run in VGA mode, and you don't need to run in safe mode.
Try booting into Safe Mode With Networking. This should run with a plain vanilla video driver, allowing you to install the drivers for your new board properly.

Note: You won't be able to do this with your hard drives disconnected. Windows does have to be available.

1.Boot your machine.

2.When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.

3.Select Safe Mode with Networking from the resulting menu.

4.Login.

5.The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different.

6.When you're finished doing what you need to do, log out and reboot into normal mode.

Good luck.
