How to save a powerpoint presentation as a dvd?

i am making a powerpoint presentation for a DR office to play in their lobby. they want to play it in a dvd player. how can i save a powerpoint presentation to a dvd?How to save a powerpoint presentation as a dvd?
I' m pretty sure it is possible if you have a PowerPoint to DVD burner like Leawo PowerPoint to DVD Pro(http://www.leawo.com/powerpoint-to-dvd/ ). Such burners doesn't simply burn your powerpoint presentation onto DVD disc, before burning, they will convert the powerpoint presentation to DVD format first, so the powerpoint DVD disc can be play on a DVD-player TV or projector. But don't worry about the PowerPoint originals like animations, transitions, video clips and sounds, all of them will be well preserved.

Hope this may be helpful. How to save a powerpoint presentation as a dvd?
Long and short of it - you can't.

PowerPoint is a file that runs within the PowerPoint program. As that program is not on any DVD players. they can not run a PowerPoint show.

However, you can use the PowerPoint program to save each of the slides in a picture format (such as jpg, png, or gif). Then most DVD authoring program will allow you to import the slides and create a playable DVD from them.

But there is no way to directly put a PP presentation on to a DVD that will play on a standard DVD player. The formats are too different.
You can try to transfer the PowerPoint presentation onto a blank DVD using a conversion tool like Moyea PPT to DVD Burner. It can save everything from your original PowerPoint onto the portable DVD disc, including the video inserted.

The download site: http://www.dvd-ppt-slideshow.com/ppt_to_鈥?/a>

Here is the how-to:

1. Install and run Moyea PPT to DVD Burner. Insert a blank DVD to your PC.

2. Import your PowerPoint file and select the output as Standard DVD or High Definition DVD.

3. Customize details for the output DVD slideshow, like adding logos, sound tracks, and DVD menus for playback on TV. Then click Start to burn the presentation to DVD.

That's it! After conversion, you can take out the DVD and playback on a DVD player attached to TV.

You can connect your PC to a TV with a compatible cable. But the presentation will be disorted since PCs and TVs hold different screen resolutions. So the best way is to burn the PowerPoint presentation to DVD and watch on TV with a DVD player.

Hope it can help!
You can connect your pc to your TV and play the presentation. But this job is not easy.

Unlike computer monitors, TV monitors are interlaced which has the effect of making thin lines and text shimmer. TV monitors generally (apart from broadcast spec) don't show the full image, so you may lose stuff at the edge of the screen (thus further reducing the amount of available resolution). Some graphics cards do compensate for this by squeezing the image into a window inside the video output - the only way you'll know is to test it.

To view PowerPoint through DVD player, the most convinient way is to burn it onto a DVD. You can check this article about how to do it in details: http://tinyurl.com/384tzs6

Good luck.
you need a dvd creation software to get a disc to work with actual dvd players, instead of just the computer
