I judge when to stop by the horse, you don't want to over work them but you want to push just a little. That plus a good workout when you ride and it should help bulk her up a little. Halter is about conformation though, extra muscle looks great and could help in a ty-breaker situation but over all if she's got good conformation you should do just fine anyways!

That would be counterproductive especially if you are going to be working on putting muscle on. Give that at least a month to six weeks as well. As long as her conformation is put together well, I wouldn't worry so much on beefing her up. I am sure she is quite a beauty! I have a halter type as well and he can just stand in the pasture and not move and he still looks muscular.

She was born a big muscular mare and i have never really had a problem putting muscle on her but if you really want to show her in halter i would advice you to lunge her for a least 30 minutes every day. This will get her nice and fit and it will build muscle. If your mare does not end up looking like a body builder that is ok because some horses are just not meant to be super muscular . How to retrain my horse using natural horsemanship?
My 6 year old develops awful manners throughout the winter months due to the fact that we do not have an indoor to use him in. I am looking to retrain him using natural horsemanship because that is what he was brought up with. From personal first hand experience the Parelli system can make your horse nervy, head shy, not cope in stressful situations, pushy.
I will get bagged out for saying this, but I would never touch a Parelli horse again. They swing a lead rope at the horse to get it to move away quickly, if it does not respond quick enough then it will get hit with the rope. Now you have a horse who moves away quickly and becomes nervous and jumpy that they will then be punished.
So what I'm left with is a horse who won't stand still and runs away when you approach them? I can't make much sense out of it. This horse was not taught by DVD's, he actually attended 2 years of Parelli certified instruction courses and was in level 3.
I like Monty Roberts methods and I also like Clinton Andersons methods. While DVD's are better than nothing, be careful about handing out hundreds of dollars for a system that does not give you a well rounded teaching method, such as Parelli. Nothing will beat the great instruction you will get hands on from a good mentor, if you have one near you ;-)

I know 1 person out of all my horse friends who swears by it, but no other people can handle her horse. He needs to be handled with specific methods or the horse is in a constant battle for the leadership.

However please explain the video to me and help me understand why, it was necessary for her to treat the horse in such a manner. He stood and gave his attention to her several times for short snippets. In a clinic situation like that, those small pieces of GOOD should have been picked up and rewarded.
It is like dealing with a child, they have short attention spans and are excited by new places. You don't teach advanced mathematics in the middle of a shopping centre because it is distracting and hard to concentrate.
So I feel the horses should have been asked to pay attention and then rewarded on any of the many times he stood still and looked at her. If she had acted quicker in her praise the situation would not have dragged on and became ridiculous.
Please justify the method used here so perhaps we can all understand.
I purchased a level 3 Parelli horse only 2 months ago, because I thought it would be good. So I'm not a Parelli basher from way back! But I have been left absolutely astounded at the behaviour of this horse. Then even more disgusted the more I have researched and discovered about these methods.

hi there, i am a dedicated parelli student and have trained many horses with it, and never seen a bad result :) unfortunately it seems there are people who dont like parelli, probably because the parelli they have seen has not been done properly, the whole idea of it is to become a good leader while at the same time creating a loving relationship with your horse.
Definitely start with the 7 games, they are so so useful and are the foundation to everything parelli. if you can, get yourself a halter, 12ft line and carrot stick/string, and the level 1/2 dvds. Its also worth joining the savvy club for $20 a month (you get DVDs, magazines, access to members only website, discounts etc etc).
Parelli is fantastic, your horse will thank you for choosing it.
Like i said, i have only had good experiences with parelli. I have successfully trained 3 youngsters from the start using parelli, all 3 are brilliant riding horses now, 2 involved in high standard dressage. I have also retrained my off the track racehorse with it, and can now ride him with no bridle, and no one would ever guess he was a racehorse.

Parelli is just one trainer. I think he takes too long to get to the point in order to get more of your $$ and then there's all that crap about introvert brains, etc...
Get something simple, some real good basic training.
Clinton Anderson has some to the point DVDs that help anyone get started and be point-blank with their horses. Great stuff.
John Lyons also has some DVds, as does Chris Cox and Richard Winters.
I would NOT, I repeat NOT! Go with Parelli in any way, shape, or form. A horse needs a leader- Not a babier. They need to be told what to do. They need a leader otherwise the horse starts to take over and that's when the bad things start to happen. I use and love Clinton Anderson. It works great, Shows you're the leader or the *herd*, and it doesn't hurt the horse in any way. I know I can't make you go with anything and if you want to use Parelli then you won't change your mind about it but I strongly recommend you at least think about it. If you really want to use Parelli I would go to YouTube and type in Parelli. You'll see stuff on there that's helpful to you. Even with Clinton Anderson you could do that. Hope this helps! =)

I keep getting an error everytime I try to install version 0.35.5 I'm a total noob at linux so I don't know how to change the permissions so that it will install.

How to delete an unallocated partition in windows 7?
hey so i accidently made unallocated partition when i was installing backtrack 4 and now i need to delete them because i cant use the space and its taking up about 40gb
so i need to make an actual partition inside that unallocated space is what ive been told so when i click on new simple volume inside the unallocated space i get this error:
you cannot create a new volume in this unallocated space because the disk already contains the maximum amount of partitions
So what do i do to delete it/ put it back on the c: drive?

In America, we have some very rich people and some very poor people, but the difference is huge between them- compare Bill Gates to the guy living under a bridge. Canada doesn't have such a huge gap between rich and poor, so less need to resort to crime.

Now unless u want the punk look where the spikes are really big u are going to need alot of hair spray and some gel. The best thing to do is put the gel in your hair before you dry it and blow dry your hair upside down to achieve some volume, once you are done that you can take a straight iron or a fat iron and curve your ends out so they flip up. The reason it is best to have layers is so there is more of a spike to it and different lenghts. Once you achieve the spike look you want spray the heck out of it lol that way it wont move or drop. So if your hair is all one length you will have problems spiking it because it will all be one length. ok... it depends how old she is, there are many grains out there that do many things but oats are the best way to go also the omaline 2oo, 100, and 300 work well.. it builds fat and makes there coat really shiny. feed 1-2 flakes of hay a feeding(alfalfa) dac oil or flaxeed oil is great for the coat to. make sure you worm the horse also. when you work them do not ride. it gets rid of back fat. put a sweat on her neck and work her for 15 minutes each day.(she needs to foam when she sweats to know you have a good sweat) if you work her more then that she will burn to many caleries.

try to go the both ways an equal amount of time.
Hit the round pen, if you don't have access to one then get a lounge line. I thing a fast working trot builds muscle the fastest. When I'm trying bulk up a horse for show I start them at a slow trot to warm them up then get them up to a good working trot. I judge when to stop by the horse, you don't want to over work them but you want to push just a little. That plus a good workout when you ride and it should help bulk her up a little. Halter is about conformation though, extra muscle looks great and could help in a ty-breaker situation but over all if she's got good conformation you should do just fine anyways!

This will get her nice and fit and it will build muscle. If your mare does not end up looking like a body builder that is ok because some horses are just not meant to be super muscular . I know a mare who is really slim and tiny and her brother was a world champion halter horse.. I just depends on their body type.

At the cancer center that my friend works in, they have 3 ';machines'; that they may be working on a patient on (it is the only cancer treatment center in Saskatchewan, but the entire province has around 1 million people). There is no wait list for patients to get in, and the staff will often put in extra time if needed to make sure that treatment is given to all patients who need it (they make $30 per hour to start plus OT). I know with my father, he was working when he started treatment, so they accommodated him coming in on weekends for his treatment. They also provide accommodations free of charge to those living outside of the city for the duration of their treatment.
I know if I ever had cancer, I would want to be treated in Canada. I know that in the US, you guys hear about all of the wait lists and people coming for treatment down there. However, the truth is, if someone has a life threatening condition or needs immediate treatment, they get it. The people on wait lists are ones who want treatments that are not required. For example, I have a friend who had a knee injury 10 years ago. It acts up when it gets really humid out. She finally decided this year to get it looked at. She waited for 2 months to get into a specialist, and a week more for an MRI. Now, she is on a wait list for knee surgery (probably around 2-3 months). These are the types of people who go to the US for treatment if they get impatient waiting here, and only if they can afford it. She can't, and has had the injury for 10 years anyways, so she's waiting it out. When my mom slipped a disc in her back and was immobile, she was in for surgery within less than a month. Basically, the more critical the treatment is, the quicker you will get in.
6 hours for a friend with colon cancer. A month and a half for a friend with low grade bone cancer, a lot of which time was taken up with tests. Seems to be a couple of weeks on average.
By the way, the friend with bone cancer went out of Canada for proton beam treatment. Proton beam is used for rare cancers; the doctor said going to the US was like renting a carpet cleaner rather than buying one. The provincial insurance program paid.
You'll notice that medical care isn't a high anxiety item for people who are losing jobs in Canada right now. They will continue to be part of the insurance scheme, employed or not., continuing to use the same health card.
With all due respect, there seem to be factions in the US who are determined to avoid the introduction of universal health care.
One point I would like to make is that, statistically, Canadians live longer that US citizens and healthcare costs are much lower.
My grandfather died of cancer, however he was treated immediately right from the day they found out what he had. My father in-law currently has cancer and again he got treatment right away. So in my experience none of my family members were put on any type of wait times. They just booked an appointment and got in right away. I am sure it varies based on the type of cancer you have, where you live, and how many people require treatment. As I said. . I have never experienced any long wait times with my family members.

I also know one person who chose to go to the US and pay for his own treatment, not because it was better but because the process used at this particular clinic was less invasive and had a faster healing time. It was his choice to spend the $35,000 and I know he's glad he did but it was not as much for the quality or swiftness of care as it was for the method of care that he wanted.

Your doctor examines you and provides a diagnosis and treatment options. You thank him/her, smile at the receptionist as you leave, and go home.
If it's an emergency, you can go straight to a hospital emergency room, or call an ambulance to take you there. If it is a true emergency, you'll be seen right away. If it's not an emergency, then you might have to wait until all the real emergency patients have been dealt with...just like you will at any emergency room anywhere in the world.
Still, you're seen by a doctor and/or specialist(s), you receive a diagnosis, a prognosis, and treatment options. Once discharged, you smile at those who took such good care of you, and go home.
I'm as healthy as a horse and barely have a need for doctors' services. But I've never had a single problem with receiving any kind of medical treatment whatsoever, over the years. If there is any ';problem';, it's the lack of doctors willing to work in rural areas (just like in the U.S.) and, in some areas, doctors not taking new patients. If that's a ';problem'; then that's the only one I've personally run into. I live in a region where not many private practice GP's are taking new clients. So, until I find one, I have to go to a ';family'; medical clinic (sometimes called a ';walk-in clinic'; but you can make an appointment at these places). It's just that I might not see the same doctor each time. I completely agree that having a primary care physician is the ideal (and is what I had for my entire life, up until now) but, realistically, Canadian doctors are well-trained, and you're generallly in good hands no matter who you get. However, this is primarily a problem of smaller cities/towns and rural areas. Having lived in large cities my whole life, it was a surprise to run into this situation when I moved to this area a couple of years ago. (80% of Canadians live in cities.)
Sure, healthcare in Canada isn't ';free'; in the sense we all pay into it via taxes. But you have no financial worries if you become ill, want to have a baby, etc. The ';cost'; of your medical treatments will remain a mystery to you, as you'll never see a bill for the vast majority of medical services.
So, please, take this information back to the extremely ignorant (or dishonest) person who told you such a thing. It's so far from the truth, it's almost laughable.

It depends where you are. In Canada, medical care is provincially funded, so it will all depend on that particular province's policies regarding medi-care. Furthermore, eacho province usually has several health boards that may vary in their policies, so that will also affect it.
Now I'm just saying this from person experience when my mom got diagnosed a few years ago with Breast Cancer, they gave her a couple options. I'm from Alberta, btw, so it may operate differently in other provinces.
She was recommended to go to a private clinic (which we do have... contrary to popular belief down there), becuase it would be faster. She would pay more for biopsy results, but it woudl come back fast.
After that she went to the public hospital for treatment, and it was very timely for us.... actually it was about a month, of which almost every week she had a check up to see how far it was spreading.
Up here they usually do it by who is the sickest, and in most need.

I don't know where you heard that. Speaking from personal experience, cancer treatment can happen very very quickly. I had a biopsy on a Friday. My oncologist called me Saturday morning and told me he wanted me in the chemotherapy clinic on Monday. Can't get much faster than that.
I think it depends on the seriousness of your case. My father was diagnosed with brain cancer, needing surgery, chemo %26amp; radiation and he had absolutely no wait whatsoever. But he would have died within a week if they hadn't operated immediately.

By the way, the friend with bone cancer went out of Canada for proton beam treatment. Proton beam is used for rare cancers; the doctor said going to the US was like renting a carpet cleaner rather than buying one. The provincial insurance program paid.
You'll notice that medical care isn't a high anxiety item for people who are losing jobs in Canada right now. They will continue to be part of the insurance scheme, employed or not., continuing to use the same health card.
With all due respect, there seem to be factions in the US who are determined to avoid the introduction of universal health care.
One point I would like to make is that, statistically, Canadians live longer that US citizens and healthcare costs are much lower.
My grandfather died of cancer, however he was treated immediately right from the day they found out what he had. My father in-law currently has cancer and again he got treatment right away. So in my experience none of my family members were put on any type of wait times. They just booked an appointment and got in right away. I am sure it varies based on the type of cancer you have, where you live, and how many people require treatment. As I said. . I have never experienced any long wait times with my family members.
I have a friend that was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She went to the hospital because she was having problems. They kept her overnight, and the next day did surgery, followed by chemo.
My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer, and had her surgery etc within about 3 weeks.
My mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Hers was found too late and she was given 3 months to live. It had nothing to do with treatments, as pancreatic cancer is spread quickly and is almost always fatal.
I know plenty of cancer survivors who recieved excellent treatment here in Canada. I also know one person who chose to go to the US and pay for his own treatment, not because it was better but because the process used at this particular clinic was less invasive and had a faster healing time. It was his choice to spend the $35,000 and I know he's glad he did but it was not as much for the quality or swiftness of care as it was for the method of care that he wanted.

She also received the latest treatment options, as well as encouragement to explore non-traditional (but supportive) options. From everything I heard, I can't imagine her receiving better care anywhere on earth.
So much for the filthy lies people keep telling about the Canadian healthcare system. In reality, it works like this: you get a minor illness, you call-up your doctor and make an appointment. Your doctor examines you and provides a diagnosis and treatment options. You thank him/her, smile at the receptionist as you leave, and go home.
If it's an emergency, you can go straight to a hospital emergency room, or call an ambulance to take you there. If it is a true emergency, you'll be seen right away. If it's not an emergency, then you might have to wait until all the real emergency patients have been dealt with...just like you will at any emergency room anywhere in the world.
Still, you're seen by a doctor and/or specialist(s), you receive a diagnosis, a prognosis, and treatment options. Once discharged, you smile at those who took such good care of you, and go home.
I'm as healthy as a horse and barely have a need for doctors' services. But I've never had a single problem with receiving any kind of medical treatment whatsoever, over the years. If there is any ';problem';, it's the lack of doctors willing to work in rural areas (just like in the U.S.) and, in some areas, doctors not taking new patients. If that's a ';problem'; then that's the only one I've personally run into. I live in a region where not many private practice GP's are taking new clients. So, until I find one, I have to go to a ';family'; medical clinic (sometimes called a ';walk-in clinic'; but you can make an appointment at these places). It's just that I might not see the same doctor each time. I completely agree that having a primary care physician is the ideal (and is what I had for my entire life, up until now) but, realistically, Canadian doctors are well-trained, and you're generallly in good hands no matter who you get. However, this is primarily a problem of smaller cities/towns and rural areas. Having lived in large cities my whole life, it was a surprise to run into this situation when I moved to this area a couple of years ago. (80% of Canadians live in cities.)
Sure, healthcare in Canada isn't ';free'; in the sense we all pay into it via taxes. But you have no financial worries if you become ill, want to have a baby, etc. The ';cost'; of your medical treatments will remain a mystery to you, as you'll never see a bill for the vast majority of medical services.
So, please, take this information back to the extremely ignorant (or dishonest) person who told you such a thing. It's so far from the truth, it's almost laughable.

No, that's true at all. Trust me when I say this... and you don't have to believe me... just listen to what I'm saying...... 90% of the stuff you guys hear about our medical system is horror stories. It depends where you are. In Canada, medical care is provincially funded, so it will all depend on that particular province's policies regarding medi-care. Furthermore, eacho province usually has several health boards that may vary in their policies, so that will also affect it.
Now I'm just saying this from person experience when my mom got diagnosed a few years ago with Breast Cancer, they gave her a couple options. I'm from Alberta, btw, so it may operate differently in other provinces.
She was recommended to go to a private clinic (which we do have... contrary to popular belief down there), becuase it would be faster. She would pay more for biopsy results, but it woudl come back fast.
After that she went to the public hospital for treatment, and it was very timely for us.... actually it was about a month, of which almost every week she had a check up to see how far it was spreading.
Up here they usually do it by who is the sickest, and in most need.

I don't know where you heard that. Speaking from personal experience, cancer treatment can happen very very quickly. I had a biopsy on a Friday. My oncologist called me Saturday morning and told me he wanted me in the chemotherapy clinic on Monday. Can't get much faster than that.
I think it depends on the seriousness of your case. My father was diagnosed with brain cancer, needing surgery, chemo %26amp; radiation and he had absolutely no wait whatsoever. But he would have died within a week if they hadn't operated immediately.

3.Select Safe Mode with Networking from the resulting menu.
4.Login.
5.The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different.
6.When you're finished doing what you need to do, log out and reboot into normal mode.

If you are talking about cancer, it does start with a single cell. In simple terms, genetic mutations in that cell's DNA cause it to lose its ability to regulate the cell cycle, and it proliferates unchecked.

If you are talking about cancer, it does start with a single cell. In simple terms, genetic mutations in that cell's DNA cause it to lose its ability to regulate the cell cycle, and it proliferates unchecked.
For example, most cells require growth factor signals to bind to receptors on their cell surface in order to divide: it is an external siganl telling the cell that dividing is the appropriate thing to do. The binding of the growth factor causes a change in the receptor which triggers a series of reactions inside the cell, which ultimately leads to genes for cell division to be activated. However, if a certain protein in that series is mutated, it can remain in the ';on'; state even without receiving a signal from growth factors. With that G protein (called Ras) remaining ';on';, it continues to cause the genes required for cell division to be transcribed and translated.
In other cases, a mutation will cause a cell to secrete signaling proteins that it itself then binds and responds to, again leading it to improper division and proliferation.

it all comes down to science, is it ignorant to reject proven scientific facts about the beginnings of this earth? it is, but consider this, The people who are creationists take everything written in the bible literally. Because they truly believe everything in the bible must be true. BUT the bible was written thousands of years ago, The people who wrote the bible had little scientific knowledge that was nowhere near what ours is. So of course, they made up, what they believed was how earth was created. SO in order for creationists to accept science, they have to accept that not everything in the bible is true, And this is something they obviously will never do.
I don't think it is idiotic to believe in a Super Power that got things going in the Universe but it is a bit silly to believe that we started off as we are today. What's wrong with believing in a starting point (Super Power or Some Freak of Nature) and from there a gradual evolution and survival of the fittest etc. to what we have today. Plus many species that have existed over millions of years have become extinct.

They feel that they have to believe in it because they are religious and their religion demands blind faith. If they question the creation that is part of their religion then they question their whole religion. If they question their religion then they question their god and that's a sin that will send them to hell. Fear of hell is why they believe in creation.
This does not mean that all religious people are creationists. Most religious people don't have a problem with accepting the fact of evolution and still follow their faith. It's only the extremists that can't do that.

She must apply for a B-2 tourist isa through the U.S. consulate in Tijuana It is VERY difficult to get a visa...and she must have compelling reasons to return when she is supposed to..own a house or business, have a job to return to, money in the bank. So many people violate their visas and do not return to Mexico, that it makes it very difficult for a Mexican citizen to get a tourist visa...actually, this is the same with many other countries. There are lots of Europeans in the U.S. whose visas have expired. Anyway, she needs to see the site below and follow the directions there to start the visa application process. Just in case you decide to get engaged or married in the future...see 2nd site to read about fiance and spousal visas. It is very important that she not spend any time at all in the U.S. illegally. Many couples do not handle things properly and really make a mess of it. Far better for you to know how to apply for these visas so you do it properly.

Math and Chemistry take logic reasoning.. that is up to you... if we have a higher pressure.. do we not have more moles per volume than at standard? So to adjust by volume.. we see it is more.. right? So the factor would give a higher figure.. 4.83 atm would give that many moles more! 27 is added to the 273. Then we see that the number of molecules in the oxygen or any gas would be less as it is above 0 C! so how are you to get the moles? The atmosphere figure would give more.. by that ratio given... the temperature says it is high, and that would give less. 273/(273+27) --- now you should have it. Do both the math,, it does not matter what order.. and you get the answer..study to know-- do not accept opinion of teachers unless proven.. and you see no objections!
